Discover a ride that’s more than a journey — it’s a contribution.
Pedal Power That Gives Back
Every kilometre you ride helps generate clean energy through solar panels and movement. That power supports local needs like path lighting, mobile charging stations, or community events.
Smart Data, Smarter Trails
Your helmet is fitted with a wide angle camera that gathers real time environmental data. From animal movement to weather patterns or alerts about dangerous wildlife, the system shares it live to our open info website. It helps locals, visitors, and park rangers see what is happening in Anglesea right now.
Flexible Start and Finish
Whether you begin at the Visitor Information Centre or finish at the Post Office, both bike hubs are near V Line stops with direct coaches to Melbourne. You can go one way or loop back. New plans also allow bike-friendly coaches where you can bring your own bike with a booking.
Seasonal Routes, Local Perks
From May to September, we open special off season tracks. Local guides and volunteers run small group tours on our intermediate trail. Every participant receives a digital certificate in environmental awareness. During this time, students and locals can enjoy discounted rides.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned rider, traveling by car or arriving via public transport, our cycling routes are designed to welcome everyone. From gentle riverside loops to immersive coastal trails, riders of all levels can explore Anglesea’s natural beauty on two wheels.
With solar-powered smart bikes, every pedal not only moves you forward but also gives back — generating clean energy that powers local amenities like lights and charging stations. No reservation needed. Just ride, explore, and help regenerate the place you’re visiting.
This project was shaped through a series of workshops held with Anglesea residents,
local organisations, and key stakeholders.
Ideas, routes, and priorities were developed together to reflect the values of the community.
It is not just a cycling plan —
it is a shared vision built with the people who live, work, and care for this place.
